Pierre Herme - Le Roi de Macaron - The King of Macaron

What hasn't been said of Pierre Herme - the best patissier in Paris or the best maker of macaron there is. Today I visited the original store in Rue Bonaparte and for the first time in all my visits didnt need to queue for ages. Since I was last here two years ago he has branched out - little macaron stores everywhere and now in the department store Galleries Lafayette;  I tried the passionfruit and chocolate; let me tell you its pretty good

everyone tries to duplicate it but the master does it best.
