Galleries Lafayette Gourmet

Galleries Lafayette is one of three major department store I can spend hours in and this one has a pretty good range of gourmet goods as well as bags and shoes!

Firstly I visit Eric Kayser - the man about town who does great artisan breads and the choice is amazing - I particularly love the fruit bread - eaten every  morning with butter from Brittany.


Next stop dessert from Sadorau Aoki - his original shop on the Rue Vaurigard and he fuses the classic of french patisserie with the delicate tastes of Japan; in particular the use of green tea which I love.






One of my other food loves is Jamon - there will be debate but the spanish hams to me out do
the Italian San Daniele
